She and her father Peter Markle wrote a treatment, moving the events from Eastern Europe to California. The film was shot in 25 days under a Low Budget Agreement with SAG, the DGA and the WGA.
The film premiered at the Cinequest Film Festival on March 3, 2018, ahead of its VOD release on August 7, 2018. In April of 2018 Peter Markle also presented the film at the 37th Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival in Minnesota, where he grew up and produced his first film, The Personals (1982).
