Mar 4, 2023 · Udo I of the Wetterau (b. c900, d. 949) from the Conradine family, was a Count of Wetterau and Duke in Alsace. He was the son of Duke of Lorraine Gebhard II. In the Battle of Andernach on 2 October 939, Udo and his cousin Konrad Kurzbold, Graf im Niederlahngau, rose up against King (and later Emperor) Otto I.
