- Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm Historic Site. If ever there were a house with some stories to tell, it’s the J. B. Mahaffie House. Built in 1857, this was an important stop along the Westport Route of the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails, serving numerous long-distance travelers from 1858 onwards.
