A slight, but interesting crime film with a difference. Someone falls, leaps, or is pushed from a high terrace in Paris. The film opens with people looking down at the corpse, which we don't see, nor does anyone identify it at that time. Next--moving hours back in time-- we see Larry, a venal social-climber and gold-digger.
