    Patricia Mary Ursula "Paddi" Edwards was an English-American actress and voice actress, best known for the roles of Flotsam and Jetsam in The Little Mermaid and its various forms of media. She also voiced Lucy the goose in 101 Dalmatians: The Series, Vera Groober-Schwartz in Pepper Ann, Atropos the Fate in the Hercules franchise, Employment Office lady in Timon & Pumbaa, Satellite 1 in The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars, Lab Computer in The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue, and a Receptionist at the office in An Extremely Goofy Movie. She also appeared onscreen as Jessie Burns in the television film "Meet the Munceys" for The Disney Sunday Movie.

    Born in Bristol, England, Edwards moved with her parents, James and Rosemary (Hughes) Edwards, to Waban, Massachusetts and became a U.S. citizen in 1952. Known for her husky voice, Edwards found a niche in television where she appeared on shows such as Laverne & Shirley, CHiPs, Too Close for Comfort, Trapper John, M.D., Newhart, Cheers, Dallas, The Fanelli Boys, Murder, She Wrote, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, 227, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Night Court, Sister, Sister, Batman: The Animated Series, and Ellen.
