Paradise Now (Arabic: الجنّة الآن ‎) is a political and psychological drama film directed by Hany Abu-Assad about two Palestinian men preparing for a suicide attack in Israel. It won the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film and was nominated for an Academy Award in the same category.

Paradise Now is a beautifully shot film and directed film that immerses you completely in the mind and morals of a Palestinian suicide bomber. This experience, while startling, is clearly not for everyone, and neither is this movie.

Synopsis In Nablus, on the West Bank, there live two friends whove known each other for years. Said and Khaled, two Palestinian people, whove experienced living under another nations rule for their whole lives. They feel oppression, humiliation and consider themselves prisoners in their own land.
"Paradise Now," like another 2005 film, "The War Within," and the 1999 Indian film " The Terrorist," humanizes suicide bombers. But in my mind, at least, that creates not sympathy, but pity; what a waste, to spend your life and all your future on behalf of those who send you but do not go themselves.
