The Eiffel Tower of Paris, Tennessee. Paris is the county seat of Henry County, Tennessee. It is near the shore of Kentucky Lake and the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. Between about 1970 and 1990, Paris became the center of the Old Beachy Amish. Beachy Amish from different regions moved there to maintain their traditional ways.
Paris Tennessee is considered the oldest incorporated town in West Tennessee. The centerpiece of the historic downtown area is the 1897 Richardsonian Romanesque Henry County Courthouse, the oldest working judicial building in West Tennessee.
