[3] and grew up in nearby North Quincy, graduating from high school in 1949, after which he joined the United States Army. He was awarded three Purple Hearts during the Korean War, in which he served (1950–51).
Paul Comi (1932-2016) was an American actor who appeared in movies and TV shows such as Howard the Duck, Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, and The Towering Inferno. He was also a three-time Purple Heart veteran who served in Korea and died of Alzheimer's complications.
