  4. May 6, 2017 · Paul Ehrlich is the grandfather of eco-pessimism. I chose to read his book in 2021 because I knew about many of his apocalyptic claims of gloom & doom were supposed to take place in the 1980's and 90's. Reading Ehrlich was an exercise in reflection & humor.
