Manze is one spot you should definitely stop at while in Peckham – if for nothing else but for the chance to dine on that famous London meal of jellied eels. Understandably, jellied eels aren’t for everyone.

You can choose to relax on the grass with a picnic, take a stroll around the Japanese garden, or play a bit of tennis.
Taking up a whopping 13 acres, Peckham Rye Park is a mini paradise of green space inside the otherwise commercialised Peckham area. There’s a skatepark, a green gym, an adventure playground, and even a cafe so you can grab a bite to eat. This is a great spot to bring a picnic on a hot day.

South London Gallery on Peckham Road has been bringing international contemporary art to the people of South London for over 100 years, while much-loved independent cinema Peckhamplex shows blockbuster films for bargain prices.
Peckham Rye Park was laid out in 1893, and the jewel in its crown is the stunning Sexby Garden. This ornamental English garden was one of its original features and exploring it is one of my favorite things to do in Peckham.. The current layout of the garden dates from 1936 and features York stone paving and four corner arbors with benches.
