Peggy Flanagan is Minnesota’s 50th lieutenant governor, serving since January 7, 2019. A member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe, Flanagan is the second Indigenous woman to be elected to a statewide executive office. Flanagan was born September 22, 1979, and raised in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
