Peter Ellstrom Deuel (February 24, 1940 – December 31, 1971), known professionally as Pete Duel, was an American stage, television, and film actor, best known for his starring role as outlaw Hannibal Heyes (alias Joshua Smith) in the television series Alias Smith and Jones .
Pete Duel was an American actor who starred in Gidget, Love on a Rooftop and Alias Smith and Jones. He died by suicide in 1971 at the age of 31, after struggling with depression and alcoholism.

PDMS contains more than 500 pictures of Pete Duel (many of them from original sources), and roughly 5,000 video captures, along with more than 100 video clips and performances—and with more to be uploaded and presented.
