    Cast is an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 1992 by John Power (vocals, guitar) and Peter Wilkinson (bass, backing vocals) after Power left The La's and Wilkinson's former band Shack had split. He would perform with the group regularly and following the departure of John Power in 1991, he became the bass player.
