Storyville has released three recordings, the first was Bluest Eyes and the credits show that the band had not quite formed at the time it was made. Their second release and their most commercially successful effort is A Piece Of Your Soul, which contains the popular song "Good Day for the Blues".
In 1994, he helped form and fronted the Texas supergroup, Storyville, with guitarists David Holt, David Grissom, and the rhythm section from Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Double Trouble, which included bassist Tommy Shannon, and drummer Chris Layton. The band released three albums: Bluest Eyes (1994), A Piece Of Your Soul (1996) and Dog Years (1998).
They had two releases on Atlantic Records — "A Piece of Your Soul" and "Dog Years". The band was together five years (1994-1999) and then reunited briefly in 2006 to produce the independently released DVD, Storyville Live at Antone’s .
