The Siouxsie and the Banshees Peel sessions are the first two sessions recorded by English post-punk band Siouxsie and the Banshees for John Peel 's radio show on BBC Radio 1 in November 1977 and February 1978. First released in 1987 and 1988, both sessions were remastered to be included on the Voices on the Air: The Peel Sessions CD compilation.

The genre is certainly indietronica post-punk or dance-punk or indie-emo-dance-punk or I-don't-know. So I guess, it's a little obscure. Alot of these sound 'in the ballpark'

1 day ago · One of my favourite labels, Regis’ Downwards come correct with a tape from 80’s post-punk act Reducer. Apparently this was meant for On-U-Sound back in 1985 but never got released although a few of their tracks surfaced digitally a few years ago.
