Wikipedia considers pop rock "a fusion of rock and pop", which I think is confusing; we never get to see her perform in already-established styles of rock music or even modern rock (the latter being a separate genre). At this point, I doubt that modern rock comes close to even remotely being an alternative to more generic rock music.
