The film was released on 25 November 1999. The American version was released by Touchstone Pictures and Millennium Films.

A movie that tells us about Todd, an amnesiac terrorist being tricked as an undercover until he learns who he really is. The consequences that he makes from his terrorist family, gives him a the choice of redemption. Purple Storm was one of the best ones that I have seen this year.

Jul 18, 2011 · “Purple Storm” is an amazing action drama that won numerous awards and critical acclaim all over Asia but never seemed to find it’s way to the U.S. audiences. Fortunately one can now find full versions with excellent subtitles, although they may have been an early press. It’s worth tracking down!
