It is known for its stunning natural beauty, with limestone mountains, lush forests, and stunning beaches. Quang Binh is also home to some of the most spectacular caves in the world, including the world-famous Son Doong Cave.

    • Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park is located about 45 km from the center of Dong Hoi city. It covers an area of 200,000 hectares and features an intricate network of caves and a diverse collection of rare plant and animal species.
    • Son Doong Cave. The landmark of Son Doong is situated within the Phong Nha cave system and has been recognized by UNESCO as the world’s largest natural cave, stretching over 9 km in length, 150 m in width, and 200 m in height.
    • Swallow Cave. Ranked as one of the three largest caves globally, following Son Doong and Deer Cave in Malaysia, Swallow cave is 1.6 km long and traverses a massive limestone block.
    • Paradise Cave. Paradise Cave is located about 70 km from the center of Dong Hoi city and approximately 25 km from Phong Nha Cave. Visitors must ascend over 500 steps to reach Paradise Cave.
