Jan 12, 2024 · Quiet Riot were originally formed in Los Angeles in 1973 by guitarist Randy Rhoads, joined swiftly by frontman Kevin DuBrow. By the time of their breakthrough a decade later, Rhoads was gone, his place taken by Carlos Cavazo and the lineup completed by bassist Rudy Sarzo and drummer Frankie Banali.
Quiet Riot 10 (also alternatively known as just 10, or Quiet Riot Number 10) is the twelfth studio album by the Rock band Quiet Riot, which was released on June 27, 2014. [1] . It is their first studio album since 1988's QR not to feature longtime and founding vocalist Kevin DuBrow in any newly recorded material, due to his death in November 2007.
Now, 40 years after its release, Quiet Riot is celebrating the monumental record on the road. The band itself may look different – Kevin DuBrow passed away in 2007, and Frankie Banali succumbed to cancer in 2020 – but the songs and the spirit remain.
