Rachel Chinouriri. Rachel Chinouriri (born 1 November 1998; pronounced / ˌtʃɪnəˈriːri /, CHIN-ə-REE-ree) [5] is an English singer-songwriter. After posting numerous songs on SoundCloud, she began releasing music on major streaming platforms in 2018. She released her debut extended play (EP), Mama's Boy, in 2019 to critical acclaim.

Rachel told Clare that creating this album helped her to reconnect with her identity as a black British woman who is proud to call England her home. She also spoke about being pigeonholed as an artist and referred to as ‘the hip-hop Lily Allen’ when she first started out, because her music wasn’t seen as stereotypically ‘black music’.
