After being injured in a freak accident while on the run from the police, troubled teen Neekos (Esai Morales) finds himself in the hospital. A routine x-ray reveals to Dr. Elaine Hammond (Janice Rule) that Neekos has lymphosarcoma -- a life-threatening cancer.
