Synopsis. In the Arizona suburbs, Herbert 'H.I.' McDunnough ( Nicolas Cage) is a petty criminal with a proclivity for robbing convenience stores. He is constantly in and out of jail but is repeatedly paroled because he never uses live ammunition during his stickups.
