The Red Riding Trilogy. A trilogy of films centered on the hunt for the "Yorkshire Ripper," a serial killer who terrorized northwest England in the 1970s and '80s.
Structurally, the series begins from an outsider's view and gradually moves in—a sort of investigative account.
