Rhys Montague Darby (born 21 March 1974) [1] [2] is a New Zealand actor and comedian, known for his energetic physical comedy routines, telling stories accompanied with mime and sound effects [3] of things such as machinery and animals. [4] . He was nominated for the Billy T Award in 2001 and 2002. [5] .
Darby is currently filming season 2 of the US sitcom Wrecked. He also stars in Jumanji, the sequel to the original, out in December. You can see him on Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events and Voltron. He is based in Los Angeles when not filming on tropical islands.

25 Years. 30/08/2023. 2022 marked Rhys Darby’s silver jubilee in standup comedy, so he has been taking a look at all his favorite material for the past quarter century. Rhys will be bringing this retrospective show to the East Coast of the USA and the UK this autumn for a limited run.
