Jeffrey Dean Morgan (born April 22, 1966 [1]) is an American actor. He is best known for playing the character Negan in the AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead (2016–2022), a role he reprised in The Walking Dead: Dead City (2023–present), for which he has received critical acclaim.
Morgan plays the role of Lieutenant Andrew Tanner, the leader of the US Special Forces who finds the Wolverines. Morgan was born in Seattle, Washington, to Sandy Thomas and Richard Dean Morgan. In his spare time, Morgan enjoys barbecuing on the grill, reading, watching movies, and listening to his favorite band, Eagles .
