The actor, best known for playing Victor Meldrew in the much-loved ’90s UK sitcom, is going to appear in a major role on the British variety show, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Richard Wilson, OBE (born Iain Carmichael Wilson; 9 July 1936) is an Scottish actor, theatre director and broadcaster. He is best known for playing Victor Meldrew in the popular BBC sitcom One Foot in the Grave from 1990 until 2000. He also appeared in the BBC drama Merlin as Gaius, the court physician of Camelot .
