Maisie Ravier (Ann Sothern) is a burlesque performer whose life is never short on adventure. She gets entangled in the world of professional boxing when her dear friend Terry Dolan (Robert Sterling), a promising young pugilist, scores his first chance at a major title. Dolan has actually grown to loathe the sport and wants out, but he fears disappointing his pushy but devoted manager, Skeeter (George Murphy).
