Robert Steven Kapito (born February 8, 1957) is an American businessman and investor. He is a co-founder (with Larry Fink) and president of the New York City-based investment management firm BlackRock.
Rob Kapito is President and a Director of BlackRock, a member of BlackRock’s Global Executive Committee and Chairman of the Global Operating Committee. He is responsible for day-to-day oversight of all BlackRock’s key operating units including Investment Strategies, Client Businesses, Technology & Operations, and Risk & Quantitative Analysis.
