Robert Thoeren was born on 21 April 1903 in Brünn, Moravia, Austria-Hungary [now Brno, Czech Republic]. He was a writer and actor, known for Some Like It Hot (1959), The Fighting O'Flynn (1949) and Singapore (1947). He was married to Erica Beer and Manina Tischler. He died on 13 July 1957 in Munich, Germany.
