Mar 11, 2022 · Robson Green had his first major TV role over thirty years ago and has rarely been off our screens since. Capturing the nation’s hearts in dramas such as Casualty and Soldier Soldier, Robson quickly became a household name and is still one of the UK’s most in-demand actors.
Biography. Robson Green was born at Dilston Hospital in Hexham, Northumberland at approx. 10pm on Friday 18th December 1964. He grew up on Blyth Close in Dudley – a small mining village in North Tyneside, just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Robson Green is one of the best known actors on British TV. Thanks to some amazing dramas and documentaries, he is now well-known worldwide.
Robson Golightly Green is an English actor, angler, singer, songwriter, and presenter. His first major TV role was as hospital porter Jimmy Powell in BBC drama series Casualty in 1989. He then went on to portray Fusilier Dave Tucker in the ITV military drama series Soldier Soldier, between 1991 and 1995.
