Biography. Robson Green was born at Dilston Hospital in Hexham, Northumberland at approx. 10pm on Friday 18th December 1964. He grew up on Blyth Close in Dudley – a small mining village in North Tyneside, just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Creator. Robson Golightly Green is an English actor, angler, singer, songwriter, and presenter. His first major TV role was as hospital porter Jimmy Powell in BBC drama series Casualty in 1989. He then went on to portray Fusilier Dave Tucker in the ITV military drama series Soldier Soldier, between 1991 and 1995.
Robson Green is one of the best known actors on British TV. Thanks to some amazing dramas and documentaries, he is now well-known worldwide.
