Beyond his place as a veteran on defense, McLeod isn't too sure how the pieces fit yet. He just signed his one-year contract Thursday and was already headed back to the airport by late afternoon.
McLeod is a savvy defender that brings a wealth of NFL experience. The 32-year-old is coming off his best season -- 96 tackles in 17 games for the Colts -- and re-syncs with defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, under whom he played in Philadelphia. McLeod will be the backup safety behind Grant Delpit and Juan Thornhill.
