The Rotes Rathaus (German: [ˈʁoːtəs ˈʁaːtˌhaʊs] ⓘ, Red City Hall) is the town hall of Berlin, Germany, located in the Mitte district on Rathausstraße near Alexanderplatz. It is the home to the governing mayor and the government (the Senate of Berlin) of the state of Berlin.

Das Rote Rathaus ist Sitz des Regierenden Bürgermeisters und seines Verwaltungsstabs, der Senatskanzlei. Schon zu Kaisers Zeiten galt es mit seinem 94 Meter aufragenden Turm (einschließlich Fahnenstange) als das Symbol des Selbstbewusstseins der Berliner Bürgerschaft.
Nach Schäden im Zweiten Weltkrieg durch Bombenangriffe wurde das Rathaus wieder rekonstruiert. In Folge der Teilung Berlins tagte der Ost-Berliner Magistrat im Roten Rathaus und der West-Berliner Senat im Rathaus Schöneberg. Seit 1991 dient das Rote Rathaus wieder als gemeinsamer Regierungssitz.
An Architectural Gem. The Red Town Hall was built between 1861 and 1869 according to designs by Hermann Waesemann. Just four years after the foundation was laid, the first meeting of the municipal government was held here. The red color of the bricks used for the building's façade is particularly striking in the light of the evening sun.
