Nov 14, 2023 · The Royal Canadian Mint unveiled the first batch of coins featuring the face of King Charles III, the monarch who replaced his mother on the Canadian $20 bill and coins. The design was selected from among submissions by 350 artists and was sent to Buckingham Palace for approval. A small number of 2023-dated coins will circulate in early December.
