A film about two pot-smoking draft resistors who go back to 1969 to warn America of a Vietnam-like threat in 1989, and face the changes in their friends and culture. The reviewer criticizes the screenplay, the actors, and the theme of the film, which he calls "ham-handed and politically obtuse".
A real estate broker finds himself having dreams that seem to be incredibly real. They are so real, in fact, that he begins to wonder which is the dream and which is reality. Released on TV in the UK as part of the Hammer House of Horror series, this was a VHS feature release in the U.S. with added Elvira commentary on the ThrillerVideo label.

Rude Awakening is presented as a comedy, which of course is just an alternative approach to narrate dramatic events. In the story two New York hippies, Fred and Hesus, have traveled in 1969 to a fictitious Latin American state in order to found a commune in the jungle.
