Ruhr University Bochum is a university open to the world and internationally connected. Programmes of Study. Ruhr University Bochum mainly offers Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes that build on each other. Exceptions are the study programmes offered by the medical, law and, in part, the two theological faculties, which conclude with a state or ecclesiastical examination.
The UA Ruhr is an alliance between Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund University, and the University of Duisburg-Essen, the three largest universities in Germany’s thriving Ruhr area. Each of our institutions has a strong tradition of breaking down walls between disciplines.
