Solstice Sanctuary was founded to be a healing center for animals and humans. The sanctuary is a safe place for animals who have experienced trauma or have found themselves without a home.
Hawthorn Hollow is a private, nonprofit nature sanctuary and arboretum owned and operated by the Hyslop Foundation. They provide environmental education to all ages. The 40 acres of varied terrain offer 2 miles of trails winding through the woods of the Pike River Valley and a 12-acre Arboretum.
