Sep 11, 2023 · Scott Smith, who was convicted of obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct for his role in a confrontation at a school board meeting after his daughter was raped in a bathroom, was pardoned by Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin. The pardon said Smith was falsely accused of domestic terrorism and hate crimes for advocating for his daughter, who was later found guilty of forcibly touching a classmate.
