Seaham (/ ˈ s iː ə m / SEE-əm) is a seaside town in County Durham, England. Located on the Durham Coast, Seaham is situated 6 miles (10 kilometres) south of Sunderland and 13 miles (21 km) east of Durham. The town grew from the late 19th century onwards as a result of investments in its harbour and coal mines.

- jeand1624. Lichfield, UK 215 contributions. Amazing and emotional visit. A truly wonderful sculpture/statue of a WW1 Tommy. Looking into the face of this sculpture was quite emotional, it said so much and the artist clearly put his heart into it.
