Allan Jones started his career appearing in some rather great musicals, but by 1945 he was appearing in films like this. No wonder he left to focus on other ventures. Light "radio" musical with some elements of the west, because there's where fame-seeker Bonita Granville comes from, but takes place mostly in an urban setting.
