2 days ago · Founded in 1947, the Shaker Historical Society collects, preserves, and interprets the history of Shaker Heights to inspire curiosity and foster engagement between diverse communities and the people, events, and stories that shape local history.
Nine distinctive neighborhoods characterized by tree-lined streets, ample sidewalks and extraordinary architecture. Lakes and plentiful parklands and playgrounds. Updated recreational facilities including an outdoor 50-meter swimming pool and an indoor, year-round ice skating arena.
The museum welcomes walk-in visitors during the following operating hours: Wednesday - Friday: 11am-5pm. Saturday - Sunday: 12-5pm. Monday - Tuesday: CLOSED.
