When Fiona gets arrested Debbie’s argues with Lip to get her out, she helps Lip look for Ian and talks to Mandy about him on her own, she helps look for Fiona when she goes AWOL, etc. Debbie’s just not a little optimistic girl anymore.
How Fiona (should've) handled Debbie wanting to keep the baby. If we were using Season 1 logic, when Debbie explosively told her she didn't want to have an abortion, Fiona should've calmly said okay. Instead of letting her carry a bag of flour to high school, give her the day off and take her to Kevin and V.
I think however as a viewer, this was the first time I really started disliking her. Before she was starting to give me the ick in Season 4, but by Season 5 she was really starting to become the Debbie she would be in later seasons.
