Having heard him described as a visceral and painfully honest genre-disregarding examiner of the darkest recesses of the human condition, I was expecting something like William Burroughs on steroids (instead of heroin).

  6. Jun 24, 2014 · Reading "Shatterday" brought be right back to the first episode of The New Twilight Zone. I forgot the premise of the story but it seemed like I watched it only a short while ago. Mr. Ellison's story would have been much better if I could have forgot Bruce Willis.
