Jun 22, 2010 · I'm pretty sure that the name "Marnie", one of the female characters in this very funny movie, was chosen from an old Alfred Hitchcock "psychological thriller" of the same name. If you look it up on Wikipedia, you'll get some clever background on the name. "She's Out of My League" has a great soundtrack too.
