Their son Sir John Pole was created a baronet in 1628. Other property was acquired in Dorset (Broadwindsor, etc) and in Somerset, but was evidently disposed of before 1800. On the death of the 11th Bt in 1926 the Pole baronetcy and estates were inherited by John Gawen Pole Carew of Antony, who took the surname Carew Pole.
