Sisimiut ( dansk: Holsteinsborg) er en by i Vestgrønland ud mod Davisstrædet beliggende omtrent 320 km nord for Nuuk. Byen er administrativt center for Qeqqata Kommune og den næststørste by i Grønland med et indbyggertal på 5.622 personer (2021) [1]. The Danish settled the site in 1764, and a church (still standing) was built in 1773. The Gammelhuset (Old House), constructed in 1756, served as the residence of the first Danish governor of Greenland.
