Skageflå is an abandoned mountain farm above the Geirangerfjord at Sunnmøre in Møre og Romsdal. The hike up to Skageflå (250 masl) is one of the most scenic hikes in Norway, with view down to the Geirangerfjord and the surrounding mountains, and to the Seven Sisters Waterfall on the other side of the fjord.
Combine a sightseeing trip on the fjord with a hike to Skageflå, the best-known of the fjord farms along the Geirangerfjord. Norway's King Harald and Queen Sonja celebrated their silver wedding anniversary at Skageflå in 1993. The Queen also unveiled an official UNESCO World Heritage plaque here in June 2006.
About Skageflå. The farm is situated on 250 meters (820 ft) tall cliff above the stunning Geirangerfjord. The drop off the top of the cliff is so precarious that the farmers had to tie up their children when they were outside playing to stop them from falling off the edge.

You can then do the hike all the way back to Geiranger or walk down to the fjord and get boat transportation back as well. Duration: 2-3 hours.
