Whiskeytown was an American alternative country band formed in 1994 from Raleigh, North Carolina. Fronted by Ryan Adams, the group included members Caitlin Cary, Phil Wandscher, Eric "Skillet" Gilmore, and Mike Daly. They disbanded in 2000 with Adams leaving to pursue his solo career.

Mar 11, 2021 · Caitlin Cary and Skillet Gilmore have been a focal point of the local music and arts communities in Raleigh, N.C., going back to the 1990s, when live shows with their band Whiskeytown were can’t-miss events that drew faithful crowds of peers as well as fans.
Skillet Gilmore is a flatstock screen printer and poster artist by day. Along with his wife, Caitlin Cary, he co-owns The Pocket Gallery in Oakwood and is the only person who will fit at Crawlspace Press, his small print shop (moving soon to Boylan Heights!).
