Solo Man is the debut studio album by Victor Willis, original lead singer of the disco group Village People. It was recorded in 1979 shortly after Willis' departure from the Village People, but not released until 2015, 36 years later. The album is a mixture of traditional R&B, gospel and soul styles.

In 2015, Victor Willis would release Solo Man, an album he recorded in 1979 featuring the Village People band. Willis appeared as himself on the game show " To Tell The Truth " and performed "Y.M.C.A." the following year.

The first single and video from Solo Man is the ballad, “ Follow Through ,” and Willis celebrates its release with a music video that alternates between a stage performance by him and various shots of a lingerie-clad Givens – who still looks great, by the way – reading a letter, taking a bath, etc.
