Her debut album, Music for Trumpet and Organ, was released in 2002. Balsom has gone on to release 15 albums as of 2020 (and a new album in 2022!). During her student years, Balsom played in several orchestral ensembles and became a concerto finalist in the 1998 BBC Young Musicians Competition.
